Who we are

Janie Nott is the co-owner of the Village Art Shop. An Art Therapist for nearly 30 years, and now Yoga Therapy. She is a painter, clay maker, a mother of three amazing young adults and a partner of a creative supporter Richard. She enjoys being surrounded by inspiring people and materials.

Richard Hassall is the co-owner of the Village Art Shop. A Metalsmith for 25 years, a maker of chairs and sculpture and father of three. His attention to detail from years of jewellery making has transferred to his advanced framing skill. He now spends the majority of his time expertly framing art pieces of all types and descriptions.
